1. Promoter

The promoters are Europa Components & Equipment Plc trading as Europa Plc (“the Promoter”), registered in England and Wales. Registered number: 2646133. Registered office: Airport Way, Luton, Beds, LU2 9NH and Electrical Contractors Association (ECA) (“the Promoter”) operating in the United Kingdom whose registered office is ECA Court, 24-26 South Park, Seven Oaks, Kent TN13 1DU Registered number: 143669

2. Eligibility

2.1 The promotion is open to individuals aged 18 years or over who are resident in the United Kingdom at the time of entry.


2.2 Employees, contractors, agency staff, officers, and directors of Europa, and their immediate family members (including parents, children, siblings, spouse, or partner) and members of their household are not eligible to participate.


2.3 The Promoter reserves the right to require proof of eligibility and to disqualify any participant who does not meet the eligibility requirements.

3. Nature of the Promotion

3.1 This promotion is a skill-based “Crack the Code” game and is not a lottery under the Gambling Act 2005.


3.2 Participants must use skill and judgement to attempt to correctly identify a four (4) digit numerical code (“the Code”).


3.3 No purchase is required to participate, and no purchase will increase the chances of winning.

4.4 The four (4) digit code is generated randomly using a web based random number generator.

4. Promotion Period

4.1 The promotion will run from 10th February 2026 to 31 December 2026, inclusive (“Promotion Period”).


4.2 The game may be made available:

  • On the Promoter’s website
  • At the Promoter’s headquarters (HQ)
  • At live or promotional events attended or organised by the Promoter

5. How to Enter

5.1 Participants must submit a single four-digit number per entry, following the instructions provided at the point of participation.


5.2 Entry methods and any applicable limits will be clearly communicated where the game is hosted (online or in person).


5.3 Entries that are incomplete, illegible, corrupted, or submitted using automated or fraudulent means will be void.

6. Entry Limits

6.1 Unless otherwise stated, participants are limited to one entry per person per day or per event/location.


6.2 The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any participant who attempts to exceed entry limits or manipulate the promotion.

7. Prize(s)

7.1 Details of the prize(s), including nature and quantity, will be clearly displayed at the point of entry.


7.2 Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and no cash alternative will be offered unless expressly stated.


7.3 The Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize with one of equal or greater value if necessary.

8. Winner Determination

8.1 A winner is any participant who correctly matches the four-digit Code.


8.2 Where multiple correct entries are received, the Promoter may:

  • Award Multiple Prizes; or
  • Select a winner at random from all correct entries, a specified at the point of entry

8.3 The Promoter’s decision is final and binding.

9. Winner Notification and Prize Claims

9.1 Winners will be notified using the method associated with their entry (e.g. on-screen confirmation, email, or in-person notification).


9.2 Winners may be required to provide proof of identity and eligibility before receiving a prize.


9.3 Prizes must be claimed within 30 days of notification unless otherwise stated. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture.

10. Publicity

10.1 By entering, winners agree to participate in reasonable publicity relating to the promotion, including the use of their name and/or image for promotional purposes, unless they object or where prohibited by law.

11. Data Protection

11.1 Personal data will be processed in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.


11.2 Personal data will be used solely for the administration of this promotion and related compliance purposes. Where entrants have provided their explicit consent prior to entering the competition online/in store/at an event, their personal data may also be used to send newsletters and other marketing or informational communications.

 12. Liability

12.1 The Promoter will not be responsible for entries not received due to technical failures, system errors, or events beyond its reasonable control.


12.2 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any matter that cannot be excluded by law.

13. General

13.1 The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the promotion where necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
