Sentinel Consumer Unit Installation Guide

Introducing Sentinel, our brand-new range of high integrity single phase consumer unit solution. In this video, we will look at some of the key features of the board and how easy it is to install.

When loaded boards are purchased, the circuit protection devices are securely packaged alongside the main unit, making installation quicker and easier.

Sentinel consumer unit features an earth bonded lid and captive securing screws. Two x 32mm and four x 25mm knockouts are provided on the top and bottom of the consumer unit. Two additional 32mm knockouts are provided on the left- and right-hand side of the consumer unit. The rear features two large knockouts suitable for installations with buried or concealed cables.

Clearly labelled earth & neutral bars are positioned at the top of the consumer unit providing maximum wiring space and highly flexible cables aid installation. Encapsulated busbars provide the necessary finger protection and busbar caps are provided to protect the free ways.

All supplied RCBOs are compact type A devices and surge protection options available as are split load boards for flexible busbar options.

The handy accessory pack includes a grommet strip for rear knockouts and clear labelling for circuits and devices.
