We’re pleased to announce that we will be covering the costs of planting over 100 trees as a result of our Sentinel Summer Giveaway.
Supporting the trail-blazing Mangrove Restoration project run by Eden Reforestation Projects in Madagascar, their aim is to work with local communities to restore the vital mangrove forests and alleviate poverty.
Creating 3.3 million working days in the local community using their ‘employ to plant’ scheme, they have planted over 334 million trees across 8 countries so far. By 2025, they’re aiming for 500 million trees each year – and we’re pleased to be supporting their work!

• Improved water filtration
• Enhanced livelihood generation - providing a vital habitat for many species
• Restores the soil in the region which has been heavily degraded from charcoal harvesting
Each mangrove tree removes approximately 308kg of CO2 from the atmosphere over the course of its life-cycle (approximately 25 years).
